Asperity Employee Benefits triumphed at the prestigious Fast Growth Business Awards 2011, walking away with the coveted ‘Winner of Winners’ title of Fast Growth Business of the Year. Asperity also picked up the Service Business of the Year award, which celebrates outstanding customer service.

The Fast Growth Business Awards 2011 took place on Tuesday evening at the London Marriott, in Grosvenor Square, honouring some of UK’s most successful companies. Growing Business magazine, the UK’s leading magazine for entrepreneurs, holds the black tie event annually. Committed to recognising pioneering businesses; those which demonstrate significant growth and entrepreneurial flair, the esteemed awards celebrate the UK’s most outstanding companies and the people running them.

On their choice for this year’s Business of the Year award recipient Asperity, the announcer remarked that “clients and employees alike have given a high approval rating” and that the judges were “more than happy to give theirs too”.

Asperity’s CEO Glenn Elliott commented on the win: “"I'm really proud of everything the Asperity team has achieved over the last 4 years. It's through the hard work and dedication of all of our staff that we have been able to grow the company so quickly and with such excellent standards of customer and client service. Consistently high quality service is what powers this growth by building solid referrals and an excellent reputation."

The awards were judged by a panel of nine successful entrepreneurs including: Richard Reed, co-founder of Innocent Drinks, Greg Jones of NatWest, and Rosemary Forsyth, founder of The Forsyth Group.

Ian Wallis, editorial director of Growing Business said: “The Fast Growth Business Awards never disappoint in terms of the ingenuity, ambition and hard graft of the companies that enter. The awards have a fantastic track record of picking out brands on the cusp of great things.”
