Investec launched their brand new VB package.

Leading specialist banking group Investec have enjoyed a hugely successful launch of their brand new voluntary benefits package, with over 50% of its employees signing up to the programme within just five days of launch.

The new scheme, Investec Reward Gateway, was rolled out to Investec's 1300 employees on 30th November this year. The programme consists primarily of a shopping discounts website, which offers users exclusive savings at big high street stores such as Sainsbury's, Comet and M&S, as well as smaller and independent retailers online, in-store and over the phone.

Aimee Wilkinson from Asperity Employee Benefits, which provide the voluntary benefits scheme to Investec, is delighted with the result:

"This has to be one of our greatest launch success stories of 2009. We worked closely with Investec to generate interest in the scheme in the run up to launch, by holding on-site roadshows to demonstrate the programme and creating engaging communication materials to promote the scheme in the workplace."

A spokesperson from Investec, added:

"We are really pleased with the high engagement so soon after launching Investec Reward Gateway. The good timing of the launch - just at the start of the run-up to Christmas - together with great employee communications has really helped to give the scheme that initial boost. We hope that the discounts available through the scheme will be just as popular - if not more so - in the New Year, as people look to save money after the expense of Christmas. It is great to have a benefits scheme which will not only be popular at certain times of the year; the everyday genuine savings mean that it will be appreciated by our employees all year round."

Investec Reward Gateway users are also able to call a dedicated Helpdesk if they have any queries or issues with the scheme - or even if they just want someone to talk them through how to use the website. The Helpdesk is open 364 days per year: 8-8 on weekdays and 10-4 on Sundays and Bank Holidays.
