Employee Appreciation Day is coming up on Friday, 1st March, and even if you have nothing planned yet, it's not too late. While we believe that employees should be celebrated throughout the year, this day is a great time to make the extra effort to show your employees how much you appreciate all of their hard work.

This is a challenging time for employees around the world, with a recent survey revealing that more than half of employees frequently experience stress at work.

We also understand the impact recognition can have on employee burnout, wellbeing and motivation at work, with 69% of Australian employees saying that their workplace wellbeing would improve if they were thanked more. Organisations that prioritise reward and recognition will be better equipped to attract and retain top talent, and will stand out as employers of choice in a competitive market.

No matter where you are in your recognition journey – whether you already have an employee recognition program in place, or whether you're just starting to explore recognition tools – use Employee Appreciation Day as a catalyst to build a culture of continuous recognition at your organisation.

To make things a little easier, we've pulled together a resource hub full of last-minute ways to recognise your employees on Employee Appreciation Day, as well as resources for long-term strategic planning. We hope that you'll find inspiration to help you attract and retain your people this year, and show them how much you value their contributions.
