Prior to working with Reward Gateway, SNC-Lavalin worked with a different provider to try and centralise their benefits offerings for greater awareness and uptake among their employees.
It was too hard to navigate for their system, and the communication around the old benefits was poor, resulting in low uptake and awareness for the benefits the organisation was offering.
The organisation had further proof of this from a benefits awareness survey, garnering only a 35% score from employees.
The company reached out to Reward Gateway to come up with a solution that was more efficient and more streamlined for their employees to use.
The company rolled out employee discounts and salary sacrifice benefits such as Cycle to Work and Childcare Vouchers.
Following the implementation of a one-stop-shop engagement hub for benefits offerings, the previous benefits awareness survey results increased to 57%, nearly 20% higher than the original answers.
SNC-Lavalin has had the scheme for 3 years now and it's changed quite a bit in terms of design and had a brand refresh. They've also expanded their platform to Australia to have more of a global reach, and are continuing to work with the Reward Gateway team to look for more opportunities to increase engagement.
The company spends about half on the platform as they were to the previous benefits provider, with at least 10x ROI with the current offering. Now, employees use the platform on a regular basis to save money on things they buy everyday from clothing to groceries and other items.
