This workshop, and the associated workbook, will help you think about your benefits package in a new way.
In this workshop, Alex and Sara discuss tried-and-true psychological frameworks (Maslow, anyone?) in order to help you consider how you are supporting your employees and where there may be gaps.
For this session, we worked with our in-chat attendees to add insight and perspective to these questions:
- Are you doing enough to support the physiological needs of your people? Are there ways you can help them feel more secure in taking care of the basic needs of themselves and their families?
- Are you doing enough to support the safety and security of your people? What initiatives do you have in place to support their wellbeing – be it physical, mental or otherwise?
- What about love and belonging? Once employees feel safe and secure, let’s make sure they feel “at home.” Do they have the information they needs and feel a part of a community within your workplace?
- Finally, are employees’ self-esteem needs being met? Are they seen an acknowledged for their efforts? Do they feel that they are important to the organization?
