Asperity moved the whole of its voucher and gift card operation, from order to despatch, in-house this month. The re-vamped Voucher Shop on Asperity’s Reward Gateway voluntary benefits platform means that orders for discounted retail vouchers and cards placed before 11:00 a.m. will be dispatched the same day.

The products range includes paper vouchers, single use cards and reloadable (‘top up’) cards. Employees can order online or by phone and delivery is instantly trackable.

Sarah Millward, Employee Services Manager at Asperity, was very enthusiastic about the improved experience for employees using Reward Gateway; “It’s great to have the whole process so seamless and completely within our control. Customers really appreciate the speed of despatch, the range of products and the service our helpdesk provides. And they especially like not having to pay a delivery charge, no matter what the size of order.

“For big-name retailers including ASDA, Sainsbury’s, the Arcadia Group, House of Fraser and Debenhams, discounted reloadable cards from our Voucher Shop can be topped up and then spent, just like cash, in store. A family spending £100 a week in the supermarket saves £260 a year”.

The relaunched Voucher Shop is part of ongoing product development planned by Asperity for Reward Gateway over the next few months. The development and technical team, also in-house, has a full schedule. Technical Director, Chris Whitcombe, believes that “Asperity’s ability to innovate with products is central to our continuing competitive edge.”
