Leading international leisure travel company TUI UK and Ireland has launched a brand new voluntary benefits scheme for over 16,000 of its employees in the UK and Ireland.
Provided by Asperity Employee Benefits, the ‘Be Rewarded More’ scheme will add to TUI’s existing benefits package, Be Rewarded, and will offer employees access to discounts and offers at over 1500 retailers online, in-store and over the phone. Further benefit options such as Cycle to Work, also provided by Asperity, will be added to the programme later on this year to make it a fully integrated package accessible through one fully branded easy-to-use website.
Employees will also have access to a dedicated telephone helpdesk that provides support and advice for the scheme 7 days a week.
The use of teaser campaigns, worksite posters, and a feature in TUI’s internal magazine led to a highly successful launch at the beginning of May, with the scheme attracting over 20% take-up within the first week.
Dione Mathias, Reward Manager at TUI UK and Ireland, said: “We wanted our VB to fit neatly into our wider benefits programme, so the ability to fully brand and tailor the scheme was a decisive factor for us when choosing our VB provider. Furthermore, the option to extend the scheme to our staff in Ireland was very attractive, and we’re pleased to see that the launch across both the UK and Ireland has been very successful.”
Ross Musgrove, Head of Client Services at Asperity, added: “We’re really excited to be working with such a prominent, industry-leading company like TUI. Months of implementation and comms planning between Asperity and TUI have really paid off, as the encouraging take-up and average spend figures have shown.”
