How Arriba Group Streamlined Recognition and Enhanced Employee Experience

"Part of my role is to look after the reward and recognition program. I'm very passionate about creating a culture of recognition as well as improving the overall employee experience, and I'm very grateful that I get to do this as part of my job.

So the Arriba Group, it's a purpose driven company consisting of rehab management, Aim Big Employment, and Live Big. We have had phenomenal growth with over six hundred employees across one hundred and fifty offices nationally. Aim Big provides employment services to people with disability, and Live Big provides allied health and clinical services to people with disability predominantly under the NDIS, all living our purpose of empowering lives together."

How has your partnership with Reward Gateway evolved since it began in 2022?

"We work with our client success managers, Rio and Cian, to move our annual awards from a manual process to the Reward Gateway platform. So, through our engagement survey, our employees told us that they appreciated our annual awards program, however, wanted to see an improvement in the process.

Drawing on my experience from having used the Reward Gateway platform, I saw an opportunity to basically improve current current processes and improve overall employee experience by moving it to one platform and essentially doing everything on that platform, including awarding employee prizes.

Working with our client success managers, they really understood our brief. They went above and beyond to deliver on our expectations and really turned it around within a very short time frame, which was a week. We took our employees on a change management journey, which also helped with the success of this initiative. We received six hundred ninety seven, nominations in just three weeks"

How has the Reward Gateway platform streamlined processes and improved employee experience at Arriba Group?

"The platform itself has been, like, amazing because it's a one stop shop for our employees where they can go in, they can recognise their peers, they can see recognition that's also been given to them, they can also access the multiple discounts that's available on the platform.

And then with the smart spending app that's also available that provides flexibility, it increases efficiency, thereby making the whole, process so much smoother."

What has led to the amazing success of your recognition program, especially when it comes to peer-to-peer recognition?

"We had sent out, two thousand seven hundred eCards in the last financial year, which was, like, an impressive result. And I think that really is due to several things. We celebrate our values on a daily basis, and a perfect example of that is during our people team meeting. Our CPO will actually go around the room, talk about our purpose and our values, and then she will ask people in the team to talk about what they are doing to live our values.

And I think at the last team meeting, I spoke about the annual awards and basically, how we were moving it to Reward Gateway's platform and launched award nominations. Being able to talk about the values and demonstrating it really helps because, our most popular eCards are our values eCards. Another thing is we empower our employees to celebrate our colleagues by recognising them with our values eCards when they, when they display or exemplify one of our values. And then, these recognition then feeds into our quarterly awards and as well as to our yearly awards.

The platform itself, it's a great enabler for us to be able to do this because we can both receive and give recognition."
