What were the key challenges that you had that led you to partnering with Reward Gateway?

"Hungry Jacks have four hundred and sixty six restaurants, nationally with over twenty eight thousand employees.

Being such a diverse workforce, we have employees across five generations and again across, four sixty six locations. So the challenge for us is connecting with people that, we're a deskless workforce. So connecting with people that aren't behind their desks, that aren't behind their computers, that are at the cold base."

How has having discounts, recognition and reward tools in a unified platform streamlined processes and improved the employee experience at Hungry Jack's?

"We have employees that work from as little as three hours a week all the way up to full time. So for us, it's really about how do we, communicate with each of those people and give them an opportunity to connect in a way in which is very simple and easy to use."

In Australia's cost of living crisis, how does offering employee discounts and financial wellbeing resources support your people?

"At the moment, employees are looking to their employers for both a sense of belonging and a sense of wellbeing. And a big part of that wellbeing piece for Hungry Jacks is is financial, acumen and financial wellbeing. So being able to provide our employees with, opportunities to relieve a little bit of financial pressure, is exactly what they're looking for."

In the last 12 months, your people sent 8,900 eCards and over 120,000 awards, what value does a recognition program bring to your people and business?

"There's no doubt that the changing ways in which we work mean that people are less connected, less connected with communities, less connected with each other. So they're looking to, us, to Hungry Jack's, to provide a sense of belonging.

They're quite lonely and, being recognised is is critical to the happiness of our employees. So giving them an opportunity to reward their peers, to reward their bosses or vice versa is, is quite meaningful and we've linked our, recognition back to our core values. So it's all about displaying behaviors that are in line with, who we wanna be and how we wanna show up. And I think it is because it's genuine. We don't set targets. We don't enforce that people send eCards. It's a genuine connection, and in a way that really resonates with with our employees."

How has leveraging the Reward Gateway platform helped your team to build connection, improve communications and drive productivity?

"I think it is that it's all in the one place. Just being able to show up to whether it's an event or send an email to say, hey, here's how we show up. Here's how we wanna reward and recognise. Here's how we wanna showcase all of our, wellbeing and benefits in the one location makes it super easy for employees to access."

Would you recommend Reward Gateway to other organisations?

"Oh, yeah. Absolutely. I think Reward Gateway for me is more a partnership. It is about us looking at what is currently happening with our employees, listening to them, and then sitting down with the team at Reward Gateway to work out exactly, what opportunities and in which direction we need to move. So it's all about support and partnership for me."
