Celebrating Pride with purpose: Education, involvement and year-round commitment

At RGER, we’re honoring the LGBTQIA+ community – its resilience, joy and ongoing fight for equality around the world.

As Pride Month begins, we pause to honor the LGBTQIA+ community – its resilience, joy and ongoing fight for equality around the world. Pride is more than a celebration; it's a reminder of the work still needed to ensure every identity is respected, affirmed and empowered.

At Reward Gateway | Edenred, our commitment to education and involvement doesn’t stop at a calendar date. We believe in fostering a workplace – and a brand – that celebrates every person’s authentic self, every single day.

Centering education: Knowledge builds allyship 

pride-flags-new-minEducation is one of the most powerful tools we have. It helps dismantle misinformation, deepens empathy and strengthens allyship. That’s why we’re investing in educational initiatives designed to support learning at every level. 

Using our communication tool, we’ve organized a curated blog schedule around the following themes: 

Week 1: Voices Across the World 🌎 – Stories That Unite Us

Week 2: Joy In Rebellion ✊🏼 – Pride as Protest and Celebration

Week 3: Love, Respect, and Empowerment ❤️ – Building Inclusive Cultures

Week 4: Pride Without Borders 🌐 – Global Solidarity & Future Hope

Additionally, we’re hosting a few internal events across our business regions, such as:

  • A virtual workshop partnering with the Massachusetts Transgender Political Coalition to provide a foundation for understanding gender diversity and understanding transgender and nonbinary identities and experiences.
  • Our Australia team will also be hosting a Lunch and Learn to talk through what Pride and allyship means to individuals.

Fostering involvement: Turning values into action

business-owner-pride-minAt RGER, our LGBTQIA+ and Allies Network works to uplift voices and share the stories of marginalized groups within our community. Recently we’ve focused on International Transgender Day of Visibility and Lesbian Visibility Day – recounting the numerous contributions individuals within these groups have provided not just to the LGBTQIA+ community, but to the world.

In addition, we address things such as International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, Intersex Discrimination and Transphobia to address the ongoing struggles that folks within the community face and how allies are able to stand beside their colleagues and friends in support.

Looking beyond the rainbow: Real allyship lasts all year

We’re committed to going beyond rainbow logos and surface-level support. Pride isn’t a marketing campaign – it’s a call to action. 

To avoid performative allyship, we’re focusing on long-term impact: setting measurable goals through partnerships with groups like Stonewall, maintaining transparency, and sustaining opportunities to learn and grow. And we’re creating channels for feedback and ongoing dialogue – because the work of inclusion is never finished.
