Glenn Elliott, Founder & CEO of Reward Gateway, was announced as the overall UK winner of the ‘Business Products and Services’ category at the EY Entrepreneur of the Year™ Awards 2016.

Glenn Elliott, the Founder & CEO of Reward Gateway, the leading employee engagement platform, was shortlisted alongside a host of big names including the Founders and CEOs of Tastecard, graze.com and PROPERCORN. Judges selected Glenn for his innovation within the employee engagement industry, and said he had ‘disrupted the world of employee benefits’.

A judging panel chaired by Rosemary Squire OBE, Founder Director and Deputy Chairman, Ambassador Theatre Group and EY Entrepreneur Of The Year™ UK 2014 overall winner, selected the winners from 40 UK finalists, who have combined revenue of £2.4bn and employ a workforce of over 16,000. The winners were judged on their entrepreneurial spirit, financial performance, innovation, national and global impact, strategic direction, personal integrity and influence.

Stuart Watson, UK Entrepreneur Of The Year™ Programme Leader said: “Entrepreneurs see the world differently. They see opportunity where others see obstacles and in a world that is constantly throwing up new challenges and disruptions, their entrepreneurial spirit is vital to driving economic growth. Operating in 60 countries around the world, Entrepreneur Of The Year is a real celebration of their achievements and public recognition of their contribution.”

This is the third time this decade that Glenn has won in the EY programme, having scooped the EY Entrepreneur of the Year™ Award for the London & South region back in June 2010, and again, earlier this year. Glenn founded Reward Gateway, which offers an employee engagement platform with employee benefits, reward and recognition, communications, and wellbeing solutions, in 2006 and in 10 years has grown it into an international business operating 24/7/365 across seven countries with 330 people servicing the company's 1,200 clients.

Glenn said, “This award is really for the 330 people that make Reward Gateway possible. I'm genuinely honoured to have the privilege to lead them and work with them every day. Innovation is at the heart of everything we do here, and I’m lucky to work with an incredible team who innovate every day because they are highly engaged and want our business to be successful.  That’s what we want for our clients, and that’s what gets us up every day, too - building products that our clients can use to attract, engage and retain their people.”

Glenn is available to interview on request.
