Spotlight on Mondelēz: Improving employee wellbeing in manufacturing with innovative benefits

24 min watch

While you may not necessarily know Mondelēz by name, you will certainly know some of their brands from your supermarket trolley! Oreo, Dairy Milk, Philadelphia, Sour Patch Kids – just to name a few. They make so many great snacks, you will be hard pushed to pick your favourite. The organisation prides itself on the people behind its delicious treats that bring delight to so many in Australia and New Zealand.

As a varied workforce, with many employees on the production line and others working remotely, Mondelēz thought that engaging employees and keeping positivity and morale high seemed like an insurmountable challenge.

Mondelēz faced a series of conflicts that the team needed to address – too much screen time for some, no access to computers for others, with a small budget and big expectations from the Leadership Team.

By offering innovative employee benefits and renewing a focus on employee wellbeing, the organisation was able to deliver on a unique employee experience to engage its 2,000+ people and gain boosts in productivity among an ever-changing environment.
