The true impact of employee recognition is hard to ignore — combined with other components in your overall employee engagement strategy, an effective employee recognition programme can help reduce turnover, boost employee morale and increase collaboration among teams.

But employee recognition programmes can also be complex. Where do you begin, what kind of initiatives should you put in place and how do you convince others that it really, truly matters

My first video to you explains how to kick off your employee recognition strategy and gives a couple of my favourite examples of recognition programmes. I hope you'll find it helpful as you tackle your own employee recognition plans, and remember, you can always find me on LinkedIn or on here!

I'll be back soon to talk to you about how to add a little spice to your recognition programmes.
