Respect at Work: Sexual Harassment Prevention Statement

At Reward Gateway | Edenred, we are dedicated to fostering a respectful, inclusive, and safe environment for all employees, workers, customers, clients, and partners. In strict alignment with UK employment legislation, including the Equality Act 2010 and the Employment Rights Act 2025, we maintain a zero-tolerance stance toward sexual harassment, harassment of any other kind, bullying, and discrimination of any kind.

This commitment applies to standard working hours, all digital and virtual communication spaces, and any company-related or company-sanctioned social events, including those outside of the standard working hours. Official social gatherings, whether onsite or offsite, are a direct extension of the workplace, and our behavioural standards apply equally in these settings.

Zero Tolerance for Harassment

Sexual harassment is defined under UK law as unwelcome behaviour of a sexual nature that violates an individual's dignity or creates an intimidating, hostile, degrading, humiliating, or offensive environment.

Prohibited behaviour across our workplace ecosystems and user communities includes, but is not limited to:

  • Physical Misconduct: Unwanted physical contact, proximity, or unwelcome advances.

  • Verbal & Textual Harassment: Inappropriate jokes, suggestive comments, "banter," or intrusive personal questioning.

  • Visual Harassment: Sharing, sending, or displaying sexually explicit or inappropriate materials.

  • Digital Misconduct: Unsolicited and unwelcome attention, either in person or through digital workspace applications, ticketing systems, and virtual meeting platforms.

Behavioural Expectations

All employees, workers, customers, clients, and vendors are required to behave professionally and respectfully at all times. This includes:

  • Respecting Boundaries: Remaining strictly mindful of personal and professional boundaries, as well as others' physical and digital space.

  • Inclusivity: Actively avoiding inappropriate commentary, jokes, or insinuations that could cause discomfort or distress to others.

  • Responsible Socialising: Moderating alcohol consumption at official events and avoiding any actions that compromise professional judgement.

Reporting and Support

If you experience or witness any form of harassment, we strongly encourage you to report it immediately so we can act to protect you.

  • Internal Channels: Employees can report concerns in strict confidence to their Line Manager or the People Team.

  • Anonymous Options: External partners and employees can securely submit anonymous reports via the independent Edenred Company Hotline.

We treat all disclosures with high sensitivity. Every report will be investigated thoroughly to the maximum extent possible based on the information provided, ensuring that affected individuals feel entirely safe, heard, and supported.

Consequences and Accountability

Any Reward Gateway | Edenred employee or worker found to have violated this policy will face immediate disciplinary action, up to and including summary dismissal for gross misconduct.

To satisfy our legal duty to safeguard our staff from third-party harassment, complaints validated against customers, clients, or vendors will be escalated directly to their employer's executive leadership or HR team. Reward Gateway | Edenred strictly reserves the right to suspend software user access, halt professional services, or terminate commercial agreements with any client or partner organisation that fails to uphold these mutual safeguarding expectations.
