As we approach 2017, what resolutions are you and your team making to bring in a new year? We checked in with our own team to see what kind of plans 2017 has in store. Here's what they said:

Robert Hicks - -Group HR Director at Reward Gateway-13.jpg"In 2017, I'll be passing it forward and making sure I do one kind thing (of substance) each week," Rob Hicks, Group HR Director

Catrin Lewis 003.jpg"My biggest focus next year is to absolutely nail our digital commnications platform, boom!TV. Beyond just the tangible goals though, I walked away from our first ever HR team summit with some new resolutions, including harnessing my challenges better. The same thing always seem to block our productivity and creativity, but no one knows how to put them to bed for good. But (in a nod to Seth Godin) I want to try in 2017 to do just 'enough' for someone, and be okay with saying no every once in a while." Catrin Lewis, Internal Communications Manager

Debra Corey-4496.jpg"I have a few resolutions that will follow me for years to come! With my employees, it's critical to stay connected, and really understand their challenges and triumphs. I've done a fairly good job of this, but would like to do it even better. I'll devote more time to this through informal chats, feedback sessions and joining our team as they support our clients. I also want to connect with others in the industry and see how other HR professionals are doing! I start my day scouring the internet, reading blogs, listening to podcasts and watching videos. I'd like to aim to start each day this way, helping me be even better connected with all that is new and exciting," Debra Corey, Group Reward Director

Zachary Wilkinson-2368.jpg"My HR Resolution for 2017 is to design, build and implement the best training that RG has ever seen. My goal is to create insightful, impactful, dynamic and engaging training that equips our employees to be ready for the market and take our business to a whole new level!" Zachery Wilkinson, Learning and Development Manager (eLearning)

Carla Sutherland-2357 (1).jpg"Starting my new role here at RG, I want to make sure I'm Pushing the Boundaries. In 2017, I want to pursue an industry-specific certification to better my skills to recruit top talent for us," Carla Sutherland, Senior Recruiter

Didi Kirova - Learning and Developement Manager--4.jpg"I'm looking to invest more time in creating really good learning content, and organising the content we already have. L&D will help engage more of our people in learning activities and help them share their knowledge — we're looking to bring in some specific tools to help us with these goals in 2017," Didi Kirova, Learning and Development Manager
