With changes to their benefit plan, Heineken USA wanted to offer a new benefit, as they had not launched one for a couple of years, and wanted to engage their employees all year round. Heineken USA has a rich suite of employee benefits, but couldn’t access them flexibly, and wanted a new benefit that they could access on computers, tablets, and smartphones – anywhere, at any time.
Heineken UK staff have been using Reward Gateway since 2012, and have seen tremendous engagement, with 69% of UK staff registered with the program. With this success, the US team wanted to give it a try to help in their effort of becoming an employer of choice. Never having used a perk in their benefits plan before, they wanted to find the right fit. Reward Gateway worked with Heineken on cementing their new company culture values – Decide and Do, Be brave, Hunt as a Pack, and Take it Personally – with eCards and communications to reach and engage staff. Making slight changes to their dental plan to free up budget, Heineken USA is able to roll out Reward Gateway for their staff.
