reward gateway best workplaces uk

We’re proud to announce that Reward Gateway has been named as one of the UK's Best Workplaces for Women 2019 by Great Place to Work. Best Workplaces for Women was launched in 2018, and this year’s accolade marks Reward Gateway’s second year in the rankings.

Workplace equality is still an issue in the UK, with women still experiencing unconscious bias, unequal pay, and under-representation in the workplace.

We’re proud that we have a 52% female to 48% male split, and we strive to offer a diverse and inclusive environment to everyone, irrespective of their gender.

We’ve done this through a range of initiatives over the years, including parental support initiatives that allow up to 52 weeks fully paid parental leave for the primary carer, and four weeks for the secondary carer and an enhanced flexible return to work policy at the end of parental leave.

Other initiatives include leadership development programmes for women, a domestic violence policy, flexible working, the launch of a global mentoring programme with a particular focus on supporting returning parents on their return to the workforce.

To further our mission to make the world a better place for women to work in 2019, we also partnered with WORK180 as an Endorsed Employer for Women - a job board that pre-screens employers, based on criteria, including pay equity, flexible working, women in leadership and parental leave.

To add to this, Robert Hicks, Group HR Director at Reward Gateway says: “I’m delighted that Reward Gateway has been named as a Best Workplace for Women. Diversity is important to us, supporting us on our mission to make the world a better place to work, driving strategic value for the business and allowing everyone to get the opportunities they deserve. Diverse teams provide us with different perspectives and experiences and help individuals to understand more and grow.

“It’s an endorsement of what we’ve done to support not just our female colleagues, but all of our colleagues. We’re excited for all the initiatives we have ongoing across the globe to support our amazing colleagues for many years to come.”
